As an Advanced Remedial Massage Therapist, Matthew is among the most highly qualified masseurs or masseuses in Scotland. After their first visit to the sports injury clinic, clients often comment that they had been looking for such an effective, hands-on treatment for a long time.
Matthew treats Scottish Premiership players privately and has also worked with other masseurs, masseuses and physiotherapists in Edinburgh to provide sports massage for professional teams. These include a Scottish Premiership team and the Scottish Rugby Team. He teaches massage therapy for the University of Edinburgh Students’ Association, and is a triathlete in training.
Qualified to the equivalent of Degree level, Matthew uses gentle joint realignment techniques that are related to chiropractic and physiotherapy work. He also blends Deep Tissue Massage with neuro-muscular work and trigger-point therapy. At this sports injury clinic you are guaranteed to receive a careful assessment and thoughtful treatments, and to be treated with respect and in strict confidence.
You are welcome to use the shower before or after your sports injury treatment. The clinic is walking distance from Edinburgh city centre and with free parking. Matthew is happy to help you plan your visit.
